I was involved in an accident that was not my fault on Monday. My whole front end got crushed in. I got hit by a 1998 GMC pickup and my airbags never deployed. This girl was going way too fast for the fact that the sun was in her eyes and she didn't see me. And she was crossing double yellow lines in order to cut corners and take the next road (everyone else does that too). The police chalked it up as an actual accident and that no one was at fault. I'm concerned that the fact the my airbags did not deploy, would I have been hurting less if my Jeep had proper safety features? And what's going to be done about that area? Is anyone going to take action to avoid any future accidents?

I was hit by an intoxicated driver at 55 miles per hour with my service dog in the car. The airbags did not deploy. We both were badly injured and lucky to be alive. (Doctors, EMT, firefighters, etc all told us this).
