The whole wiring harness has to be replaced. Have less than 9000 miles on car. It’s been a week they gave me a loaner car now I’m upset I bought a renegade and will worry if it was repaired properly. Took them 3 days to come up with this solution. Better be covered under warranty Beware Jeep Renegade buyers, this should not happen. Gotta check lemon law

Have taken car in 3 times. The last time had it towed since car would not start with keyless entry. I loved this vehicle but have lost all confidence in it now after reading reviews of the electrical problems. They replaced a BCM as a shot in the dark fix since they have no idea what is causing the problem. Not happy.

Keyless System Failure randomly came on 12/1/17. Dealer updated software said should fix problem. It didn't. Took it back in 12/2/17, dealer unable to fix, had to order new module. This @ 218 miles. Dealer said it was probably working OK, but we could leave it & they would order a new module or we could drive it until the part came in. We got a loaner. Dealer called 12/11/17 to say that part that came in was the wrong part. It would be there 12/12/17. New module installed & we picked up car 12/12/17 - @ 1,100 miles this issue appears to be fixed. New issue 12/25/17 - see other post.

Warning light for passive entry system on. I changed batteries in key fobs, the warning still on system - it seems to work but warning is still on.
