Had car in. First they said it was in the radio, replaced. Same problem next day. Jeep claims no issues like this on any other Renegade. Could not bring car back because tech that looked into this problem was off. Called Jeep Customer Service. Told to bring car back when Star tech could try to duplicate, he could not. Gave car back. Same problem. Customer claim sent to a higher claim div.. Same thing bring car back. Had car for 2 days cannot duplicate. Gave car back. They claim they cannot put on any other new parts unless this problem can be duplicated when the tech is in the car and it happens to him. Apparently they can't see the problem even when the car is brought back with problem still on the screen.
The problem again is heater raises temp to H on driver side 80 degree passenger all on its own at any time. After driving sometimes many miles, sometime right from the start and at any outside temp. Who wants to buy a car when the Carfax is going to show Jeep cannot solve this problem. What's my value going to be in a car that cannot be repaired. HELP now customer service is asking if I want a second opinion. Guess I'll have to jump into more hoops before they decide I'm a pain and they want to get rid of the publicity, as I intend to proceed this all the way to a LEMON lawyer. Anyone want advise me on this problem.
