Renegade LX

I'm at a hotel. Put my suitcase in trunk, try to close it and it won't latch. I try a few times and no luck. I drive down the street to get gas and try to close it again, it won't stay shut. Like I close it, it locks and then unlocks immediately. So I drive for a few hours and try again. They it stayed shut.
