The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated that while the vehicle was at the dealer for an oil change and tire rotation, the service mechanic discovered that the front passenger-€™s side wheel lug nuts had swollen and was extremely difficult to remove while attempting to remove the tire. The contact indicated that two mechanics were needed to loosen the lug nuts. The cause of the failure was not determined. The lug nuts were replaced. The contact was concerned that if there was a flat tire it would be difficult to remove the tire with the faulty lug nuts. The manufacturer was not yet contacted regarding the failure. The failure mileage was 16,200.
