Renegade Limited 1.3L

  • 16 miles

Get up to highway speed and transmission will not go higher than 7th gear. You can manually put in 8th and 9th but will revert back to 7th. If you put in 8th manually, it will stay in 8th and when something happens, it locks back in 7th. It will not go into 8th or 9th with a 40mph tailwind and going downhill. Have had to dealer, star case and Jeep customer service. Customer service closed case and sent me to area rep. Customer must do everything. I do a lot of 75mph driving and want the gears I paid for.

Update from Feb 17, 2023: 21k and trans blew. 4th gear only. Waiting on Jeep.
