Consumer complaint regarding tire pressure in the 30 inch tires. The vehicle came factory equipped with 30 inch tires, which was an upgrade option from the standard 15 inch tire. However upon having the vehicle serviced the consumer was informed that the tire pressure on the specifications label - 29 psi - was incorrect. The correct tire pressure for the 30 inch tires is 40 psi. The consumer contacted the manufacturer for clarification and was told that the correct tire inflation was actually 38 psi. The dealer informed the consumer that the label was correct and that the listed value of 29 psi is a minimum pressure only. A new label was supposed to be mailed but never arrived. Updated 11/16/05.
