Jeep leaks during any rain storm. Area between the door and frame of Jeep that is normally protected by weatherstripping does not control leaks. I have had the weatherstripping replaced and the leaks still continue. A good rain storm will leave 2 inches of water in my floorboards. Carpet is beginning to rot and mold will have to be removed.

The contact took the vehicle to the dealer for the water leak and they replaced the door seals on the driver and passenger side; however, that has not remedied the failure. The dealer stated that it was a design flaw in the soft top and the door seals. The contact called the manufacturer regarding the leaking soft top and they would not provide any assistance. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 59,500.

2007 Jeep Wrangler problems with engine stalling. Consumer states that in order to restart the vehicle it must be in neutral before turning the ignition switch. Consumer states she would like the vehicle replaced. The seat belt retractor on the drivers side failed within weeks of owning the vehicle, there was a constant rattling noise coming from the pillar area, the drivers door did not close properly. The technician used a mallet or hammer to align the door striker. The consumer had to slam the door in order for it to close properly, even though there was no certainty the door was really closed. There was a possibility that the striker on the door could collapse while the vehicle was in motion causing the door to open. The vehicle also made a rattling noise while accelerating.
