My jeep would go through oil without leaking any of it, I'm surprised that it didn't get a motor knock and they did replace the oil filter adapter on it because the original one had a crack in it. Here's my jeep problems 1. The water pump went bad 2. Electrical problems 3. All the door hinges started rusting under the paint 4. The disappearing oil 5. Cracked windshield 6. The radio would turn itself off n on 7. The transmission would get locked up 8. The only good thing I will say about it is the original tires lasted 80k miles and I bought new tires off ebay for $600..

Chrysler should have recalled this problem instead of ignoring the problem. Growing up i considered Chrysler just as American as apple pie and baseball. My Jeep was the first brand new car. I have had many used cars and never had this problem. Now i have a new car with no engine. If there is a class action lawsuit please contact me.

3.8L engine constantly uses oil at a very high rate, i.e. 1 litre every 1000km. No indications of oil leaks. Asked garage and they claim that this engine is normal for a high oil consumption.
