Has anyone ever heard of their automatic locks failing due to the lock's motor failure? Well just 2 years after purchasing my brand new Jeep Wrangler the drivers side lock quit working, then a couple months later the rear passenger lock, then the tail gate lock!. So basically I paid for a feature that doesn't fulfill it's purpose and the dealership would not do diddely-squat because it was not covered under the warranty. This left me feeling totally ripped off. To get it back to working condition (for automatic use) I need to buy a new motor for EACH door lock. Well tell me why I should BUY 3 new motors if they are just going to break. What a joke!

This is an issue which appears to be grouped into TIPM issues. The problem is that it's not serviceable without replacing the entire TIPM, around $1,500.00 according to the dealer. it's a simple relay but since it's soldered into the TIPM, along with the fuel, wiper, dash lights, etc. relays, it appears to be a purposefully poorly designed part.
