I've called my local Jeep dealership about these open recalls for over a year numerous times they tell me they will call when parts are in. No calls et. This is my only car to drive they no that. Can't believe this!

While in motion driving down the highway and on a city street car suddenly dies, no power steering, lights flashing, horn blaring, windshield wipers and fluid are activated and doors lock and unlock. Mechanic informs me it is tipm issue with 2007-2011 Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge. I investigated online and Jeep forums etc. Support this and yet Jeep refuses to accept accountability- as someone who has nearly wrecked on multiple occasions, I implore you address this or someone is going to die, because Jeep continues to ignore this problem!!! this also happens in the middle of the night when the car is parked stationary and isn't even on- I have woken in a panic several times by what I think is my car alarm going off, to find the horn blaring, blower motor, flashers, interior lights, and the wipers going on and off. Also, while driving at night, the lights suddenly go out. Once again I urge you to investigate this dangerous problem, because this will cause a serious accident, or worse if these issues are not resolved! *these incidents have happened on multiple occasions, but the most recent was today, so that is the date used to answer "when did this happen"

Abnormal flashing of instruments panel. Speedometer and gauges turn off while vehicle was in motion, turn signal indicator go off and on. Vehicle temporarily loses engine power. Intermittent loss of electrical power to all dashboard components. Radio, blinkers, wipers go on or off on their own. Vehicle ignition won't start. Diagnosed by dealership as: Tipcm failure; "computer fried" I had to pay for a new wiring harness, had to replace fuse box, brand new sway bar control module along with a brand new tipcm computer bought from dealer. Dealership won't cover repair cost nor is covered by Jeep manufacturer's warranty.

While driving about 50 mph violent shaking of entire vehicle. This has happened twice. It is brake or stability control related. Have to come to a complete stop and start again for shaking to stop. Also have had to change both front calipers due to overheat damage. The overheat is a result of brakes applied by stability control or traction control when there is no need for either.

I have a faulty clockspring. There is a recall associated with this: S33. NHTSA campaign #: 16V290000. The faulty clockspring is effecting the airbags, stability control system and windshield wipers. For some reason my vehicle is not being covered by the recall.

Traveling down road, noticed air bag light staying on, esp wouldn't work, horn inoperative. Called Jeep dealer and they said to come in for diagnosis as the air bag light indicated a fault in air bag system. Took to dealers and they had to replace clock-spring wiring harness to cure problem. Not in warrenty period and when Chrysler was contacted they would not accept cost as it was not under recall. I therefore had to pay for repair. The dealer said to keep invoice as it may later be a safety recall. It should be as I was told the problem could cause the air bag system to malfunction. Being in the Jeep community I know of thousands of Jeep Wrangler having the same problem. Copy of invoice attached.

I first noticed prior to May 2014 that my cruise control had quit working but just figured the control had gone out. Then about May 2014 the airbag, stability control and ABS lights came on while I was driving and have been on since then. The Jeep does still chime notifying me of the issue. After researching the problem I've come to conclusion its the clockspring, which has been recalled/warranty extended on several model year Wrangler. I have a hard time believing understanding why this hasn't been extended to additional model years. Is Jeep waiting on xx number deaths and injuries to occur due to a faulty part related vehicle safety?

Upon turning on my Jeep the airbag light did not go out after the start-up light check. When restarting the vehicle it went out. While driving it came back on and chimed, it has continued to come on intermittently while driving and while parked. The esp also began intermittently illuminating while driving on a smooth straight highway. This intermittent issue has persisted for over a year. In doing research both issues can potentially be related back to the airbag clockspring. A recall exists for RHD Jeep Wrangler of my same year that use the same part. When contacting a Jeep dealer about this safety issue they said they would not do anything to resolve it unless I paid for all parts and labor. In checking online forums this is apparently not as rare as the initial recall states. There are even online tutorials on how to change it yourself since the manufacturer doesn't recognize this as a problem on lhd Jeep. (www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-write-ups-39/clockspring-replacement-273201/) while this hasn't caused a safety problem yet, my concern is if I am involved in a collision that I will not have the protection I am supposed to from a faulty manufacturer part.

The clock spring on these vehicles are notorious for being faulty. Chrysler recalled right hand drive Jeep for this same issue. This disables the horn the cruise control, the airbag, and the electronic stability control. All very important issues in case of an accident.

The esp, bas, ABS, and airbag lights are all on. When you start driving there is a clunking noise and it hesitates to go. Sometimes when you are driving it starts to clunk and it is hard to steer. At times it is like you are dragging the rear end. And at times it even feels like you are dragging the rear end sideways.

From one day to another my Jeep turn on the esp bas light also with the esp off light so I thought that I had bad alignment on my tires so then I went to the dealer and he told me that they have to replace the clock spring inside my steering wheel... I was reading that a lot of Jeep jk owners are suffering this also Jeep already made a recall for right hand drivers but left hand drivers are suffering the same.

Horn stuck on until I pull wire off of horn. Air bag light is on esp light is on and traction control light is on. Research on Jeep forums appears to be the clock spring. Many other 2008 models seem to be having the same issue. Please provide some resolution to this issue.

Going up to 50 mph, ,,,get severe shaking, ,,not safe at all, ,,I have spent over $1000 on repairs, re alignments, rotations and had the steering damper replaced 2X by Jeep, ,,,still does the wobble, ,,,I am furious about this.this is very dangerous.the Jeep dealership has told me they have done all they can do.

On approximately 01/21/13 at about 8:00am, while traveling on the 405 freeway at about 50mph, my Jeep got the "death wobbles". it was found the entire front housing snapped off. It was fixed and returned to me. On 02/11/13 at about 10:30am, I was merging on to the I-5 N/B from sand canyon in irvine. When I reached 45mph, I got the "death wobbles" again. This time, the dealer said it was because I had cheap tires on the vehicle. I have nitto tires which are about $250 each. I have looked into the death wobbles and it appears Jeep has a real problem. The vehicle shakes so violently you feel like you are losing control. Someone is going to get killed and Jeep knows it. I have had my vehicle in twice now for the same thing. Once more and I am going lemon law. If they give it back and my family is injured as a result of a known flaw. Stand by! this is crap. You cannot knowingly sell a defective vehicle can you? seems like it would be criminal to defraud or fail to disclose this death wobble issue to buyers. I did not know anything about this until it happened to me.
