I have intermittent issues with what I suspect is the TIPM. The horn will go off constantly whether the Jeep is on or off, windshield wipers will wipe and spray when pressing the horn. I see a lot of recalls for it, just not for my year.

When I open the door the wipers jump and the horn starts going off non-stop. I have to raise the hood and bang on the fuse box. I live in an apartment and leave for work around 5 am. This does not happen all the time but it does enough to piss me off.

This is a REAL safety issue and SHOULD BE RECALLED!!! THE HORN and WIPERS came ON and WOULD NOT GO OFF. Also the DASH LIGHTS WENT OFF. The only way to get it to stop is disconnect the battery, then would take a while for it to start again.

Drove vehicle for 10 minutes, come to a stop and the horn started blowing all by itself, pulled to side of road, opened hood to remove fuse. As soon as I took off the lid to the TIPM, it stopped.

Horn honking, windshield wiper going, windshield washers, when it starts it will not shut down until you disconnect the battery. Call the dealer, no help, said bring it in and it would cost $100.00 just for them to check it. Need to get a class action suit going.
Update from Apr 17, 2019: The problem: Body control module A. Located on the main fuse box. Sometimes it could be bad or it also could be loose. The're is also a grounding strap that could be loose also.
