Wrangler Sahara Unlimited 3.8L

  • 165,000 miles

The catalytic converter on my 08 Wrangler went at 78000 miles. I just made the 8/80000 coverage and had it replaced by the dealer. I am now on my second engine and at 160,000 miles and the check engine light came on. I took it in to my mechanic and was told that it was the catalytic converter. SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?!

Wrangler X 3.8L V6

The engine light comes on afte about 2.5 hrs of driving. Paid to have it put on a machine. Something about the transmission. Took to dealer. He said he needs to reset the sensors on the transmission like he does for another mail carrier in Paris,tn because it is confused. He did this. first day kinda ok. Second day, doing the same thing, on, then it starts getting really bad about not going into drive. On 1-18-2011 it broke down......
