A few months ago I worked until 8pm. I started my jeep and turned on the headlights, they flashed 4 times and then turned off. I turned off the engine and restarted, hoping lights would come on. They did not, each time trying to turn the lights on, they would flash and go out. I drove home with fog lights on. I brought the jeep to my mechanic the next day and the lights worked fine for him. This happened a couple of times and then it would be fine. Now it happens often and I never know if I will be able to drive it as it is dark in the morning when I leave for work. If they do work; I worry that they will go out while driving. I have taken it to my mechanic again and he tried a new switch which was not the problem. So here I am with a vehicle that may or may not run properly. I also have found in my research of this problem, that many others have the same issue and continuously have put hundreds of dollars into finding the problem only to fix it temporarily or not at all. It sat in the driveway for a week. No headlights. My boyfriend also researched the problem and read to disconnect battery for a short while and then reconnect. We did this and they WORKED for only 2 days and again back to flashing. This is definitely a safety concern!!!!!

Headlights flash and stay off, turn the headlights on and they flash and stay off. Same with the high beams. The high beam indicator on the dash lights up.

Try leaving for work in the dark and you have NO headlights. That makes it kind of hard to get to work on time when you have headlights that just stop working for no reason they had to put a module totally on to fix whatever that means. This makes trip NUMBER 9 to the shp since April 1st to August. Now im out of warranty since October 2010 and its April 1st 2011 and I got more problem today water pump
