TIPM causing issues

my turn signal doesn't work and I can't afford to pay the 700$ they want for a new TIPM. I am a first responder and in emergencies need to drive quickly and safely to help people but now driving with no turn signal cause i can't find anywhere to buy a used one and haven't saved 700$ for a new one. I feel like this is a manufactures defect and chrystler should be doing a recall on this part
