My 2009 Wrangler pops out of first gear when letting up on the clutch. It scares me when this happens but is also a danger. Last night was the last straw, the shifter popped out of 1st gear and broke my thumb!!! Chipped it. I can't do manual labor for 2 weeks. So you can see why I'm pissed. The dealer says too bad!!. There's no recall, so we won't touch it....does anybody have a solution????

The problem is, it doesn't do it every time. You never know when it will happen. Others on forums have the same issue. If you bring it to dealer and it doesn't happen there, they won't do anything.
