The parking brake has failed TWICE in my Jeep. Luckily, I was in the vehicle both times it happened - otherwise the Jeep would have been parked inside my neighbor's house at the bottom of the hill. I had the handle replaced because the teeth inside keep wearing down. A few months later I notice it starting to not hold as well. This time it only needs to be tightened. Last week it failed AGAIN. Now I have to have it replaced once more. Thank GOD I was in the vehicle when the brake failed and could stop it from hurting someone. Jeep, please find a way to fix this. I love the Wranglers but this is dangerous.
