Wrangler Sahara 3.6L

OK 1st Jeep /Fiat Chrysler has a huge huge problem with several different yrs of jeep wranglers having a code of C2200 which is the faulty brake ABS module.

This is a known issue for them which I've read 1,000's of complaints from owners like me who have a vehicle that we can't repair or replace the faulty part with a good part., why? Because they can't either find a replacement chip that goes in the module!. Nobody can apparently make it!.

For a lot of owners they can still drive their jeep wrangler, others have them parked on the dealers service lots waiting for years! Years! With absolutely no end in site. No recalls, no offers to help no answers other than it's in redevelopment mode and that's all they tell you..this is unacceptable! I bought and paid for this vehicle I should be able to drive it safely, not with 3 different lights on the dash! And no ABS system working. Covid is the excuse, I'm sorry that was what 2020. It's 4-5 yrs after covid now and no future results or answers. This should be a class action lawsuit and either a settlement to trade my vehicle for its full value even tho it has again lights on all over the dash. Or results start happening. Because I bet there's what 300,00 wrangler owners that have this problem too or will have it soon. If yours isn't having issues, I'd definitely trade it off now before it's your problem also..

Wrangler Sahara V6

2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara ABS and ESC light illuminated when starting vehicle after sitting overnight. Unable to accelerate as rear brakes being applied by the faulty ABS sensor. Jeep stuttered and would not allow me to accelerate as I was pulling out onto a busy thoroughfare. EXTREMELY dangerous situation. This has to be a safety violation at least. Why is a FAULTY sensor allowed to override the drivers actions? A potentially life threatening situation. AND the kicker - The Jeep dealer charges to replace the factory faulty sensor. I was told by the service department, if I had read my manual, it says not to drive when this condition occurs. I am sorry, my vehicle is essentially broken down on the side of the busiest road in Pinellas County and you want me to take my manual out of the glove box and read it? My bad, I should have thought of that.

I bought my 2013 Jeep Wrangler with 17,000 miles 2 years ago and since then the ABS sensor on the tires have locked up twice without any warning. I had one of the sensors replaced Sept 2014 and now exactly 1 years later I was driving on I-75 outside of Atlanta on Friday afternoon when my brakes completely locked up without any warning. Thank goodness it did not cause an accident, but there is SERIOUSLY SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH A VEHICLE THAT THE BRAKES WILL LOCK UP ON THE INTERSTATE WITHOUT ANY WARNING OR OTHER MECHANICAL PROBLEMS. After finally making it back from Atlanta I was able to drop the car off at the dealership and they want to charge me $230 RIDICULOUS! The last bonus to owning a JEEP is each tire has a sensor so if I continue to drive this junk I have 2 more tires that can lock up with out ANY warning. This is a LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN. THE DEALERSHIP NOW WANTS TO KNOW DO I WANT TO HAVE IT FIXED SO REALLY would you put your kids back in a JEEP?
