The vehicle keeps losing power at the most inopportune times (passing a vehicle; in a construction zone with no shoulder; on a highway). I have almost gotten into 4 accidents B/C of this problem. Whenever the vehicle goes faster than 70 mph...power is lost. It continually throws off a code of 0369. The dealership has replaced the following to try to fix the problem: Replaced ABS system; replaced stability control system; replaced oil filter housing; replaced the cam twice; swapped the cam; replaced the cam phaser; replaced all 4 cam phasers; re-flashed the PCM; replaced the PCM. Today it goes in to the dealership for the 10th time to try to get it fixed. It is a death trap to all that share the road with it, not to mention extremely unreliable. It has never been off-roaded and is well maintained.

After sitting idle all night, started vehicle in morning and ABS and ESC lights came on. I was unable to accelerate as the rear brakes were being engaged by a faulty sensor. I shifted into neutral and back to drive and lights went out and back to normal operation. I pulled out onto the main thoroughfare and the Jeep stuttered upon acceleration and felt like it was losing power before it stopped. Both lights came back on. After shifting back to neutral, I was able to get back onto the street and to the dealer for service. This is the second time this condition occurred in this vehicle. In July of 2016 the right rear wheel speed sensor was replaced by fitzgerald Jeep in clearwater. Codes C1035 and C1049 were present at the time of the repair. This faulty sensor could have caused an accident with injuries, at best, or a fatality/fatalities at worst. The computer program that allows a faulty sensor to override the drivers action is a malfunction that needs to be addressed.

While driving with cruise control engaged on the highway at roughly 80mph, the cruise control kicks off. Check engine light displays and the ESC light comes on. Vehicle loses power and decelerates on its own. Have to floor the gas pedal to keep the vehicle moving. Experiences momentary bursts of speed but then speed declines again although the gas pedal is still pressed to the floor. I believe this is attributed to the clockspring assembly but my vehicle was not included in the recall. Can my VIN be added so I can get this issue resolved?

Traction control and check engine light illuminated not allowing me to accelerate. This Jeep has been in the shop about 30 times and the problem is still not resolved, they are telling me that I need a new wiring harness and that they will not cover it because the warranty is expired this has been ongoing since 19000 miles. ESC light came on while driving down the road. After that, the brakes started on their own and I couldn't steer. I was able to slowly drive to the dealership and they had to fix the clock spring. Even though this is a known recall and problem to the 2007-2010 Jeep, they didn't include the 2013 in the recall and it was over $600 out of my pocket to fix.

My vehicle has been broken into more than 5 times in the past 6 months and I have all these people following me around on every location I am while serving my mail route...I spent over 2500 on sensors and wiring but my vehicle continues to flash check engine lights and chimes constantly while driving down the road. I am very concerned the computer system has been compromised several different occasions and I have went too 2 different Jeep dealerships and both are pulling different codes on the exact same day.the codes were reset I drove 25 miles to the next dealership when all sorts of lights started flashing and the engine lost power. I got to the next dealership that pulled codes and said nothing was happening. I even had a person contact me from one of the dealerships telling me to come in for a service part that I had not confirmed to be ordered. My fear for my safety is of high concern if someone is deliberately trying to sabotage my vehicle.

Traction control light stays on. Unable to turn off. Everything is pointing to the clockspring recall. But my Jeep has not gotten any letter or notification about the recall that is currently out. Please add my VIN to the recall list so I can take it to the dealer asap

Driving down interstate, check engine soon light, and traction control light come on, vehicle loses power, decelerates on its own. Cruise control stops working. Have to almost floor gas pedal to keep power going to vehicle. Vehicle then randomly has small burst of acceleration on its own. Occured while driving down I-10. Occurs randomly while driving, without warning. Almost caused a major accident between myself and a semi, while my kids were in the vehicle.

My left hand drive Jeep unlimited Wrangler has a clock spring issue too that cannot be resolved. All Jeep need to be on the recall, not just the right hand drive Jeep.

ESC light is constantly on. This results in cruise control not working, this also causes the mil (check engine) to stay illuminated. This was initially a problem when I bought the vehicle new. I have ignored this issue, but after relocating to a new state, California requires the check engine light to be off in order to pass a smog inspection. I've replaced the clock spring. No change. I believe my Jeep is affected by the same issue that resulted in NHTSA recall no. 14V-636. I would not say that NHTSA 16V-290 should apply to this vehicle, only because the airbag warning light is not on.

Check engine light goes on and off. Default code shows problem with oil pressure sensor. But check engine goes off when vehicle is at 3/4 fuel tank, then goes back on when at 1/4 fuel. The oil pressure sensor problem appears common to these vehicles. There are lots of people noting the same problem and explanation is that Jeep knows there were faulty oil pressure sensors installed over many vehicle models and years. The repair is roughly $400 - $500 as the head needs to be pulled to replace the sensor. However, many still report the check engine problem after the repair is made. Unknown as to extent of damage the engine may experience due to this problem.

Jeep randomly stalls and engine dies while driving. Jeep has replaced O2 sensor, PCM and tipm. Problem is still occurring. Very dangerous to drive not knowing when the engine will quit working. Problem started occurring around 45000 miles and is still occurring

On 6 separate occasions, the electronic stability control light came on, which disables the cruise control. The Jeep has 42,000 miles, and it started happening at about 39,000 miles. It happened at various speeds between 30 mph and 65 mph, on moderately bumpy roads, however, not bumpy enough to be described as outside of the normal. Took it into the Jeep dealership, and they said it was working properly, but it never happened before 39,000 miles of driving the same roads under the same conditions.

Jeep has been stalling for 7 months. Been in shop 9 times. Jeep stalls going at different spends, while stopped, moving at idle in forward or reverse. Jeep will not start unless terminal on battery removed or sits for awhile. Transmission fails to engage occasionally in reverse or drive after stalling. Last program download appears to be a fault with the tipm (totally intergrated power module). Ptm and tpm changed out due to different readings in downloads. Mechanic believes now, that the tipm is faulty. Jeep has stalled up to 5 & 6 times on some days.

A week ago I noticed when I started the Jeep in the morning the air bag and the traction control lights on the dash came on. The cruise control quit working along with the radio controls on the steering wheel. The Jeep is parked on the street. I disconnected the battery for about 30 min. I reconnected the battery and started it up. The air bags and traction control lights were still on in the dash. The steering controls do not work. The Jeep was parked in front of my house on the street.

As I begin to pull into heavy traffic, I hear and see the check engine light warning along with the skid control light illuminating. The car then stalls leaving me sitting in 70 mph traffic. The vehicle starts back up but has a noticeable loss of power. This loss of power continued until I got home. When I finally get home I use a code reader which indicated it was a camshaft position sensor. Code P0344. This could have been a much worse incident as there were no mechanical issues leading up to this.

2013 Jeep Wrangler. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle electrical problems. The consumer stated when a tone sounded, the brake light, ABS and stability lights illuminated. Also the speedometer and tachometer needles went to zero, and the cruise control shut off, slowing the vehicle down instantly. The stability and brake switch were replaced.
