problem #5

Dec 182018

Wrangler

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

After transmission was replaced the Jeep would have issue of not wanting to crank or turn over when engine was warm. After sitting for an hour or so it would start and run just fine.

Wrangler Sort V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 38,000 miles

After doing research I see this is a large complaint for many Jeep/Chrysler owners and may be the TIPM failure.

problem #2

Wrangler Sahara 6 Cal

  • Automatic transmission
  • 24,000 miles

It started right after i bought it, i am the second owner, the starter just not wanting to work, but would start later, so didn't worry about it. Had a recall on mirrors and i mentioned it, nothing found wrong, however they did fix the remote start where i could turn of ac. this only happens when i use remote, then last week went out & tried to crank up the starter, would not start till i pulled off battery cable. now will not turn motor over. however, everything else works.

I have tried a new battery, tested starter and was told it was a tipm or thing that controls everything like brain. i can't start it, have not brought to dealer till this coming saturday and they said it probably is is tipm. however no official recalls so i am told to be ready to pay out. oh yea i also tried extra key.

I am pissed because less than 36000 miles on it. love the jeep but have had one problem after another. I knew i should have never bought a Chrysler product.

Please someone help.

Dec 122013

Wrangler Sport V6

  • Manual transmission
  • 50,000 miles

This Jeep has been having multiple problems. The new problem is that twice in the past week, it has decided not to start. After a few attempts it will start. However, it's unreliable and I live in the woods and drive where I may not have service. Back to HONDA for me.
