The contact owns a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated the driver-??s side front seat belt failed to latch securely. The contact stated that the air bag and ABS warning lights were illuminated. The local dealer was contacted, and the contact was informed that the vehicle was not covered under a recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V680000 (Seat Belts). The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 220,000.

The gas cap needs to be recalled. The dealer has replaced it several times and the light still comes on. The seat belt is a recall, but yet they have no parts to fix it. RHD Jeep's only.

The seatbelt/airbag light went on at 27000 miles. One dealer said it was the wiring under the seat and another said it was the seatbelt. My municipal mechanic looked up recall information on the issue and it seems as though my vehicle should have been recalled. Any 2013 Jeep Wrangler sport made before 7/1/2013 has a faulty seatbelt. This is concerning and I am scared to have anyone ride on the passenger side. I am attaching the prodemand report. Please contact me as soon as possible. The light went on when I started the car,

Airbag light is on, cruise control (as well as all other controls mounted on the steering wheel) are inoperable. This was gradual; I noticed cruise control didn't work first, then the rest of the controls including the airbag stopped shortly after. This was during highway driving (a coast-to-coast road trip).
