Wrangler Rubicon 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 32,223 miles

Guess this is kind of a common problem. The oil pressure sensor failed. The fix action requires the removal of the upper and lower intake manifold. This was covered under warranty so no cost this time.

JEEP CUSTOMER SERVICE THERE IS NOTHNG. AFTER INFORMING THE CORPORATE ON THE SITUATION WE WERE INFORMED THAT UNTIL THE SERVICE WAS CONDUCTED AND WE HAD A RECEIPT THAT THEY WOULD NOT EVEN CONSIDER LOOKING INTO THE MATTER.

JEEP COMPANY IN JACKSONVILLE NORTH CAROLINA STATED THAT THEY COULD ONLY SEE US WITH THE NEXT AVAILABLE APPOINTMENT WHICH IS 5 DAYS FROM NOW AND THAT BECAUSE THE RECALL HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED ON THE JEEP THAT THEY WOULD STILL HAVE TO CHARGE US FOR THE THE CORRECTION OF THE ITEM. IN RETURN WE WILL BE DRIVING A VEHICLE THAT WILL NOT BE RECEIVING OBVIOUSLY THE CORRECT FLOW OF OIL, MEANING ENGINE LOCK UP COULD OCCUR AND FURTHER TRANSMISSIONS ISSUES.
