My wife was driving the Trans Canada Highway when the front wheels of her Jeep Wrangler started to wobble almost uncontrollably. This happened suddenly and if she didn't have the presence of mind to slow down to slow down there would have been a crash and who knows what injuries.

I looked this up on line when she told me and to my surprise this is a common problem with Jeeps, yet we did not receive a warning from Chrysler or the Dealer and to my knowledge there has not been a recall for this problem.

We have booked the vehicle into the Dealership to have this problem investigated but they cannot get it in until 12 Aug, so in the meantime my wife is stuck without a vehicle as she is now too nervous to drive it in case the problem happens again.

My daughter has had her Jeep for two years now with the lift and just recently it started having the "Death Wobble" happening. Her being a young lady it is very concerning for me her dad to have her driving such an unsafe vehicle.

It has been to 4 wheel parts for repairs and they blame the ball joints. So now it is in the dealer for the ball joints and they're blaming the steering damper from 4 wheel parts. They are working together although they have had it for going into the third day and still no fix...
