down shifts into 2 low at 70 miles mph

Return trip from dealer they said the steering wheel was out of alignment so they aligned front wheels for 89.00, don't see how that could be problem. On way home it did not do it until I got to 4,000 feet it downshift into 2 low had to pull over stop then continued for home off ramp, pulled around semi to get into right lane and in front of me is a. S L O W sign on a truck following a truck carrying a mobile home doing about 30 mph, put on brakes and car downshifted into 2 low and had very little control vehicle almost went over slide of off ramp. When car car stopped and was happy I didn't go over side, put car in park then in drive ad exited freeway. When I reached a place I could stop I did and called Service Manager but his machine answered and I left a message. When I arrived home call Manager of Dealership. Since car has been flattered down o dealership and contacted attorney regarding Lemon Law.

down shifts into 2 low at 70 miles mph

I live in PINE MOUNTAIN CLUB, CA. Which is abut 80 north of Los Angeles,CA, in the mountains, we get snow in the winter and the terrain can be rugged. Was driving jeep to dealer for scheduled maintainance. The first 5 miles are called the S curves maintain road 2 lane it started to downshift into 2 low from 55 mph.

Had to pull over stop shift into park than into Drive, The next 15 miles are mostly straight and flat. No down shifting. Gr8 on 5 south about every 20 or 30 miles it would downshift from 70 mph to 2 low, would have to pull off freeway on shoulder

put car into park than into drive, get back into traffic and this happened many time in my drive to dealer. They couldn't find problem and said it was fixed.
