ABS Module. The safety lights are on for the ABS Module. We verified the fuses were all good, and replaced them with new ones, just in case. I took the car to a mechanic who used a handheld computer to reset the warning. The warning lights came back on as soon as I started the engine. My mechanic attempted to order the module, but we are getting that it is on back order. We had been told it would be at the dealership in Oct 16th, but is still not available today Oct 31st. I understand that if for any reason I have to slam on the breaks, there is a chance that my brakes will fail. I entered our VIN but received the message that our Jeep is not listed as on recall. Other 2015 Jeeps are on the list, but ours has failed?? Doesn't seem right. I'm was not looking for free to begin with, but do need to correct this issue. Neither option is to available.

ABS, Traction Control, and Brake lights have been on for more than a year. I have taken it to Jeep Dealership here in Jacksonville, FL and they have continually tried to order the part from Jeep, but are told that the part is. not available at this time. I called Jeep directly and have been told "Part STOCK is under QUARANTINE pending quality / engineering review and inspection. Working to obtain timing on resolve to predict allocation and shipment to DLR to fulfill No firm ETA to provide at this time. Pending response from SPLR / PKG Working to improve." Which is not really an answer. My ABS does not work, and my car cannot be put into cruise control mode without this part being replaced. I feel that my car is not safe without ABS and traction control functioning properly. Part in question is: 68259556AD Module

The ABS Module malfunctions and causes breaks to not work properly. Called dealership and was told to call at later date because the part is being redesigned due to failure. No recall has been sent to owners. Have had to replace break sensors more than two times and not able to drive vehicle until new ABS part available for $1,800. Have had issues with breaks locking up while trying to drive in past and dealership had to repair the ABS modular. This is a safety issue needs to be researched. ABS Control module failed (code C2200). Loss of anti-lock brakes and traction control. Confirmed failure by dealer. My antilock brake system failed and made it where I cannot set my cruise control and the part that is required to fix has been on nation wide backorder since September 30 of 2023 this is unacceptable for a safety part to be that hard to replace and if that many are on backorder it should be recalled. The ck engine light would go on and off for a few monthes

The traction control light and ABS dash lights will come on and the vehicle will jerk and bog down while driving. It is very dangerous and needs to be fixed. I looked on jeep forum to see if I could see what's going on with it and there were a bunch of jeeps that have the same problem.

While slowing to a stop from very low speed, on a paved city street, the brakes failed. Pedal was all the way to the floor, and seemed as if the Jeep accelerated slightly, and the ABS was possibly activating and releasing? causing minor damage traffic collision with stopped car in front of me. I am a retired traffic accident investigator, and was not distracted, I could not recreate the same malfunction after the collision.

While pulling out of my driveway I gently pressed the acceleration pedal and the vehicle started to glad the traction control light on the dash and the brakes were applied via the ABS system. The car lost all forward momentum. I thought maybe the car had just broke traction even though I was on a flat surface that was paved and dry. However, when pulling out of the end of my street the same event happened and put me in a compromising position because the vehicle stopped in oncoming traffic that I was attempting to pull across and there was a car coming. Thankfully I was able to get out of the lane of traffic before I was T-boned in the driver side door.

I was driving on a paved road and needed to step on the brakes to avoid striking a vehicle in front of me. My ABS breaks failed to work and I had to swerve to avoid striking the vehicle in front of me. Immediately after this incident my ABS light and slip light illuminated on my dash board and remained on. I have the next available appointment on the 19th of February at fields Jeep in glenview and I am unable to drive this unsafe vehicle until it is repaired. With that being said I need to take off of work without pay until it is repaired.

Last Friday afternoon (12/13/19) I had a significant brake malfunction where I believe the ABS system falsely thought a wheel was locked up and released the brakes or made them much less effective during a normal stop (my interpretation of what happened ' especially after some online research). I was travelling at approx. 45 mph and the light ahead turned yellow and I pressed the brakes to stop. The brakes were ineffective, and I realized I was not going to be able to stop in time before entering the intersection. I decided to run the light and pull over on the shoulder immediately. I then proceeded to drive again in a slow fashion and apply the brakes. I had the same ineffective response. I tried a third time with the same results. I believe the ABS was being engaged falsely. I was alone in the vehicle and no cars were in front of me. I am certain that if I was on a crowded major highway and I was had to stop I would have crashed ' unnecessarily because there was no need for the ABS to engage. The above incident occurred approx. 3 hours away from my house in the vicinity of davenport. I brought the Jeep to posner Jeep who checked the vehicle and re-initialized the ABS and said they didn't find any problem. I bought the Jeep in 2015 from arrigo Dodge in tamarac and have had several issues with the ABS system and sensors. I strongly feel that the issue can happen again and can cause accidents and possibly deaths if not dealt with appropriately.
