I purchased a used single owner 4 door Jeep Wrangler Nov 2018 with 50k miles. My check engine light came on Sept 2019. Code came back as spark plugs. My father replaced them. The light came back on with a new code was for a cylinder 4 misfire. Took it to an auto shop Oct 2019. They charged me a little over $300 for just the left side of ignition coils to be replaced. They replaced them the light came back on within 24 hours. I continued to take the Jeep back to this same auto shop 4 more times and they kept telling me different things were wrong. Then the 4th time they told me it was because the other side of ignition coils needed replaced. So I paid another $200 for those to be replaced. Less than 5 hours later my check engine light was back on.

I then decided to take it to a Jeep dealer on Jan 17, 2020. They told me the head needs replaced. A quote of $2,800. It has now been 41 days that the Jeep dealer has had my vehicle. Jeep will not assist me in a rental or pay the service in full. Dealership where I purchased the vehicle told me there was nothing they could do. The part is on National Backorder and I have not been given a date when the part is due to arrive. I have a full time job and no car - while continuing to pay for my car payments, insurance and uber rides. My Jeep only has 61,000 miles now and already needs a head replacement so they say. No one is helping me and I refuse to just take it and wait.

I need a vehicle - this is hurting me financially, and interfering with my career and personal life. I need help or any advice I'm at a loss here. I have wanted a Jeep since I started driving. I finally get one thinking I would be a life long Jeep owner and this happens and Jeep could care less. Their customer service is a joke, and clearly they have issues the refuse to address. I regret buying a Jeep!
