This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Jeep dealer.
has happened 3 times and at high speed 60mph. shakes uncontrollable. Wife is scared to drive the jeep since it has happened to her 3 times now.
Update from Jan 18, 2017: Now an add on as this weekend on 1-14-2017 I am not sure if this is a part of the problem but we put the vehicle into D to drive ahead and the vehicle would only go backwards. We had to shift back into park and D 3 times to get the vehicle to go forward..

Our Jeep goes into a violent uncontrollable shake making it difficult to maneuver the vehicle to side of the road and to get it to stop. Dealership has looked at it at least 5 times. We also took it to another dealership. Can't find anything wrong. We found out that the tires cannot be balanced. When we first bought the Jeep, they put sand bags in the tires because they can't be balanced. We found out this issue is called Jeep Death Wobble. One person at the dealership told us that the tires that are on our Jeep can cause this type of problem. So they agreed to put new tires on to fix the problem. We took it in and they just said there was no way they would put new tires on it. This dealership is Mac Haik in Temple TX.

My 15 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited has just developed the Death Wobble somehow and I'm not sure how to fix it. My 2012 Sport Unlimited had it as well and I originally thought it was isolated to later models but that's definitely not the case.
