The contact owns a 2017 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the traction control warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle was not skidding at the time. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with a failing clock spring. The contact was informed that the clock spring needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 34,000.
