With a cold engine, at parking lot speeds, my Jeep runs in spurts. Like the fuel is being turned on and off. This makes it impossible to drive smoothly across a parking lot. I have had it back for service 4 times. My dealer has a similar model with a manual transmission that has the same problem. I contacted Jeep Customer Service, written to Mike Manley FCA-CEO, who had a rep. contact me.and she checked with my dealer. Jeep has concluded that since 2 Jeeps run this way, it is normal. Jeep needs to take ownership of this problem, get their software engineers to make a fix and update all Jeeps with a manual transmission.

Right hand drive USPS employee, and I was expecting better durability than what I’ve experienced. Seems when Jeep is shimmed by a pot hole or rough road at 10 mph or even less, the engine light 1st followed by ECS light and sometimes ABS light. This throws Jeep into limp mode, not allowing it to run over 3000rpms. Try running an 86 mile route in allowed time. Also on a few occasions Jeep has just simply up and died while running speeds of 45 & 55 mph. There is definitely a problem here, just search any Jeep forum page describing limp mode, camshaft sensor or wiring harness.
