Issues with corrosion around door and hood hinges which risk weakening the structural strength of these panels. This issue is caused by the manufacturing process of using dissimilar metals and is a well documented issue with these vehicles

Paint is bubbling a peeling on all doors next to the hinges. This is due to the fact that Jeep recently started using aluminum doors, which prematurely corrode around the steel hinges. Jeep has offered to repaint the areas where the paint has peeled off, which is obviously just a temporary fix. While this may seem like a cosmetic problem, it is indeed a major safety hazard as corroded door hinges significantly compromises the overall structural integrity of the vehicle.

I noticed multiple of welds on my 2019 Jeep wrangler's frame that have potential to catastrophically fail, including the front track bar bracket weld which was recalled for 2018 JL Wranglers. My local Jeep dealership (Larry H Miller Jeep in Sandy Utah), "inspected" the welds and said they were fine. However, they never had a welding inspector look at the welds, and when I brought this up with management I was kicked off of their property. I reached out to Chrysler customer service on 3/20/2023 and they said there was nothing they could/would do. This is a known problem in all Jeep JL wranglers and I hope NHTSA will step in and force FCA to buy back all JLs with bad welds, before people start dying.

Lowered the windshield per the user manual for the first time on 4/3/21. 2 of the 4 bolts holding the windshield to the frame were present but not tightened. Unknown if they loosened while operating the vehicle, which has approximately 20,000 miles currently, or whether they were loose from the factory.

Steering/wandering issue with 2019 unlimited sport stock tires/configuration. Seems dangerous on the road. Difficult to drive and return to straight after turning. Won't go back to straight after turning and seems to be a lot of slack in the steering.

Jeep has less than 1,000 miles just left work about 10 minutes later driving on the freeway Jeep starting shaking vigorously I slowed down and started to pull over when I did it stopped so I began to drive again set an appointment at the dealer. I will not drive until it's inspected read articles and it sounds to be the 'Jeep death wobble' or steering damper. Very scary experience.

You can clearly see my welds are rusting, have pits in them, and their is excess slag visible on frame. I know this is an outstanding issue, but wanted to report my case as it appears to be what ive read about an investigation into this. Vehicle is only 5 months old off the dealers lot.

Driving high way speeds hit a grove in the road on the highway and the whole front end turns to jello. The steering feel violently shakes to the point where you lose steering. You can't get over to slow down to slower speeds and you cannot grip the steering wheel too tight because the vibration will have no where to go and you will eventually flip over.the only thing to stop the vibration is to slow down which is impossible on a highway where everyone is driving 75mph. I have attempted to have this fixed twice. Jeep keeps trying to put a steering damper on it that does not work. They refuse to check for welding work or anything else manufactured defective that would cause the issue. This has happened multiple times March 2019 and October 2019 are the date I sent it in for service. Please help us consumers I have children and its not safe

Poor weld quality on the frame that questions its safety. Nearly all welds on the frame are chipping and beginning to rust. I noticed this within the first 2 months of ownership. I live in a dry climate. Some welds have holes. The images I have provided are some samples. Nearly all welds look like the welds in the photos.

I noticed steering play with the vehicle during some points its difficult to keep it in a lane especially during highway travel. Then when I was under the vehicle installing a trailer hitch I started noticing pitted, incomplete, disconnected and (possibly rusty) welds on a vehicle that has a build date of only two months prior.

The vehicle was taken to larchmont Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge (2533 boston post road, larchmont NY, 10538 (914) 636-3030) and the dealer stated that they would order the replacement part. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and provided case number: 59750760. The failure mileage was 4,500.
