While driving down a winding mountain road, the "electronic throttle" warning came on as did vsc, ABS, check engine and electrical. The steering became very stiff and the throttle uncontrollable. The vehicle was essentially out of control. We took it to a dealer four times, each time it wasn't fixed. The vehicle is currently at a dealer and fca is trying to figure out what is wrong with it. I heard the mechanic say they had others that were doing this. Fca refuses to describe what the problem might be to me because it's proprietary. They essentially want to try stuff, then have me risk my life testing it to see if it works. The photo is the second time it happened, on an interstate going straight. This is a 2019 Wrangler rubicon with 12K miles and completely stock. This is a very dangerous defect and fca doesn't know or doesn't want to say what it is. They sound like they are trying to cover up the problem with some sort of hacked up software fix, but the software has been completely updated. I am worried that someone will be hurt or worse if this happens to them.

Eventually dies and then you must shut down vehicle with key. Wait about 1 minute start and it drives fine. Has happen multiple times been into shop. They have "flashed" computers but continues to do randomly.

When the outside temperature is hot enough and the A/C is turned on the cooling fan noise becomes excessive. It's a known issue with Jeep. There's an actual tsb specifically for this noise. Tsb 18-041-18 rev B. when I took my Jeep to the dealer to remedy, I was told that my Jeep wasn't part of that tsb and the admitted noise was normal. If there's a tsb out for this condition, how is it normal" that means on some Jeep it's not normal? what's the criteria for it to be not normal"

I purchased a 2019 Jeep Wrangler jl in September 2019 brand new 8 miles on the car. I gave the car to my wife as a gift. So she started complaining about the steering so we took it to the dealer and they replaced a couple of steering parts left the dealer and right away I noticed that it was still driving the same with to much play on the steering. Called them right away and they said bring it back then a steering box was replaced still no change hard to keep in the lines some time it has a hard shake on the right front. So we took it back they maid adjustment, still the same wife is scared to drive it. So took it back 7 days later they said nothing wrong it drives as designed so 1 1/2 to 2' play on the wheel is normal still the Jeep is all over the lines and to top it off my wife was pulled over by fl key police thing she was drunk and had take a alcohol test and she was clean and let go. This was a horrible for her. We don't want the car anymore what can we do. Must of this happens after 45 miles per hour. My contact number is 7862852804

My Jeep wanders all over the road. Its extremely uncomfortable and tiring to constantly correct the steering to stay in a lane. Specifically when going 50 mph or more.. it has been this way from day one. There is too much play in the steering. It is unsafe to drive on the highway. We already did one factory recall and it did nothing to change the steering. Im tired of all the excuses such as "its a Jeep thing, just enjoy it" or "thats just how it is" as well as the suggestions to purchase other parts and modifications to correct the steering of a brand new vehicle. This should not be an issue. I have driven my fair share of off road vehicles and ive never experienced this kind of wandering from any of them. Also, my Wrangler has been leaking oil since about 1500 miles. Ive already had the rear main seal replaced after sitting at the dealership for 2 months and the oil pan replaced the 2nd visit. I currently have an appt to take it in for a 3rd time because it is still leaking oil. My Jeep has less than 2000 miles.

Push button start with keyless entry. Vehicle does not give audible warning when you leave the vehicle running on exit. This is a safety hazard and could cause death if parked in your home garage. It is very easy put the gearshift in park and exit the vehicle without turning off the engine. (I have done this twice within a 3 month period) an audible warning on exit, which indicates the motor is still running, would prevent this from taking place.

  • 64 miles
I purchased this vehicle on May 1st 2019 and park the car with only aprox. 63 miles on it that night. On May 2nd 2019 after driving a couple of miles the check engine light came on along with the stop/start icon with the explanation sign in it came on. I parked the vehicle and next available day was that Saturday May 4th 2019 to bring back to security Chrysler Dodge Jeep in amityville, NY. My vehicle went in with 88 miles. May 6th I was advised vehicle was cleared for pick up. Got to dealer around 8:15pm May 6th and still found stop/start warning icon illuminated on vehicle.. dealer could not find issue, they put over 15 miles on my vehicle for drive cycling the vehicle but no repairs were made. I am dissatisfied with the outcome so far and dont have my vehicle back as yet and its May 8th 2019.
