I was not informed of this recall when I purchased my Jeep at the dealership. Per recall, clutch pressure plate recall. The risk is high. Is extreme risk. It may catch fire. It may cause crash. I don-??t feel safe driving my vehicle. I-??ve been to dealership twice and they told me there-??s no solution yet. I outreached Jeep via email directly.

Driving on the highway, when the roadway changed from paved to a bridge roadway, the vehicle began shaking uncontrollably and i had to hit my brakes and pull off the side of the road. I was going 75mph at the time. The vehicle now shakes uncontrollably when i hit any type of bump and i have to pull over. my front tires start shaking like a broken shopping cart wheel and it looks like they-€™re about to fall off when looking at the car from outside. I went to jeep and they said the issue is a steering damper issue. based on several online reports, it looks like this is a common issue with jeeps and no recall is being put out

I had the rear defrost repaired at the Jeep dealer under the manufacturer warranty. The first time I used the rear defrost in cold weather after the repair the rear window exploded while driving on the freeway. Extremely loud explosion and glass was everwhere in the rear seat and behind the rear seats. Nobody was in the back seat therfore no injuries.

While driving at highway speed into sun glare, the driver-€™s side sunvisor spontaneously detached from the support arm, fell down, and obstructed my view causing me to take emergency action to regain full traffic / road vision. I safely pulled to side of the road. No collisions or injury occurred but this could have easily resulted in a crash. Further inspection showed the plastic snapped allowing the visor arm to detach from its mount on the windshield frame causing it to fall into field of view. Unquestionably a safety concern and a design flaw.

I was driving down the interstate and the sun visor fell and obstructed my view. I had to manipulate it back to the clip to get it to stay out of my way, all while driving at high speeds and in traffic. Doing an online search I see where the visor is defective in many of these vehicles. Luckily I wasn't involved in an accident, but the potential was there as the visor broke and dangled in my view of the road at Interstate speeds. On 7-13-21 rear defroster for the jeep wrangler sport hardtop rear windshield was repaired at Larry H. Miller chrysler/jeep/dodge at 8528 Lomas blvd ne, Albuquerque NM 87110. On 10-1-21, I used the rear defroster for the first time since repaired. 5 minutes into my commute to work, rear windshield shattered while driving. Luckily it did not cause an accident. I could smell something burning and remaining glass was hot to the touch. There were no pedestrians or vehicles nearby. There were no signs of any external projectile causing the shattered glass. Took to dealership where they refused to cover under warranty and would not admit that the defroster was responsible. In fact, they say it is impossible the defroster could cause that. Checking online, it appears that it is not only possible, but pretty common. I believe fiat/chrysler is intentionally trying to cover up this problem. Luckily there was no accident and no one was hurt in this instance.

Vehicle was taken to a local repair shop after hearing an occasional clicking sound on the front passenger side. After inspection the mechanic determined the weld connecting the control arm to the chassis had failed. If the pieces had completely separated at a high enough speed, serious injury could have resulted.

When in the automatic shut off mode, the car will lurch forward forcefully when trying to park. The vehicle will jump the cement parking barriers and can cause the vehicle to hit what is beyond the barrier, such as the wall of the building beyond the barrier.

I purchased this vehicle on 30 October 2020. I drove for 38 miles total. On November 1st at approximately 02|:30 a.M. the vehicle caught after being parked for more than 15 hours. Total mileage on the vehicle 131 miles.

Had it for less than 2 weeks (was brand new, purchased with only 43 miles) and decided to take it on a fall road trip. Halfway through our road trip (about 100 miles in) engine started 'jumping' and 'heaving' while in cruise control on the highway at 65 mp; then woudn't accelerate at all, and speed started to decline. Was very near an exit, so was able to coast in to a gas station. Electronic throttle control error code + service engine lights were lit. Attempted to turn off an on several times, hoping this was just some kind of glitch, but after multiple attempts it woudn't even stay started. While in park, after pressing "start" engine just kept jumping then automatically would shut itself off. Our whole family stranded hours away from home. Under 500 miles and it had to be towed in to the nearest dealership where it's been sitting for almost a week now and they still have absolutely no idea how to fix it. Was told that it lit up with so many error codes they have to get a special engineer from mopar to come out' just in shock that we're having this issue with a $65K vehicle. Very unsafe.

Vehicle intermittently does not turn back on after engine shuts off during normal electronic start system operation. Engine shuts off when nearly and at a stop. When releasing the brake pedal, the engine does not turn back on. There have been three occurrences as follows: Occurrence 1 6/27/2020: Exiting the thruway and nearly at a complete stop at a light at exit when the engine shut off due to ess system. Upon releasing the brake to begin driving, the engine failed to turn on. Operator was pushing gas pedal to go, the engine remained off. Remedy was to tap the brake again in which the engine turned on and was able to move. Occurrence 2 7/13/2020: Came to a stop in traffic on a street. Engine shut off due to ess system as designed. Upon releasing the brake, the engine did not restart. Operator pushing gas pedal multiple times and engine still did not turn back on, sitting 'dead' in the middle of traffic. Attempting to push the push start button did not turn vehicle back on. Remedy again was to push brake pedal again and engine turned on. Occurrence 3 August 2,2020: Operator in traffic, came to a complete stop. Released brake pedal to begin moving. Engine did not turn back on, and shifter 'd' symbol began flashing. Tapping brake pedal would not restart vehicle. Dashboard stated 'shift to P to park', to place vehicle in park position. Placed vehicle into park, had to restart engine by pushing start button. Engine turned on and was able to move. I have a video showing the third occurrence, however this submission only allows picture format so took snapshots of code. Sent video to fca, have multiple recorded visits to dealer to find issue, no root cause determined at this point. Requested refund/replacement.
