Cadenza Premium 3.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 24,000 miles

Especially in 21st century, most cars have DRL lights. But it seems like KIA is not interested saving people on roads because that was only made to prevent accidents.

Cadenza EX 3.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 150 miles

I leased a 2014 Cadenza, first in this area, and it was the Premium model, also it had the Luxury and Technology option packages. I was told this car was Kia's attempt to give Lexus, Audi etc. competition. I was shown the white LED light in the headlight assembly and told that was the DRLs; however, that is not true. These are 'position lights'. I discovered on my own that the DRLs are bright LEDs, and I can see where they would go if I had them. They are not there. How can anyone produce a higher end car, loaded with options (like fog light, panoramic sun roof, moveable headlights to follow curves in the road, departure from lane detections, NAV system and much much more; yet they don't provide what has become almost a standard feature for safety, Daytime Running Lights!!! I have told the salesman (a friend) that had I known this I would NOT have leased the car. I get a discount on my insurance for DRLs. So they are costing me money plus I do not have the use of them, which increases my safety on the road. I am very displeased with Kia, to have made such a beautiful car and then not put a feature like DRLs on it is a crime.
