The second-row seats on the left and right have a very high-powered spring forward lever. I have to tell anyone getting in the back to watch their head while moving the seat forward. Now I just have them let me move the seats so no one gets hurt. I got a very hard hit to the head with sunglasses on. It about knocked me out. This happened right after I got the car, probably the day or so after getting it. My son took a look at my new car after that, and he got bashed in the head and let out a few cuss words. A few months later my daughter-in-law was putting the grandkids in the back, and she got knocked in the head and had a headache after that. The seats are very hard to move forward for people getting in the back. It's easier to just climb over the second-row middle seat pulled down to the arm rest setting. You have a hard time moving the seat forward if you have a car seat in it as well. You have to pull the under-seat bar forward. It would be nice to just pull a lever forward and the seat slide forward. Everyone that tries to get in the back has a hard time getting the seats to move.

Update from Jun 26, 2026: Recall on the second-row seats has been issued. They will replace the coil springs on the 2 outer seats with a softer coil.
