EV9

Our vehicle is a brand-new Kia EV9, and since ownership, we-??ve experienced two serious incidents where the instrument cluster/dashboard display has gone completely blank. This occurred once while driving and once immediately after starting the car. The failure is critical because it not only prevents the display of essential information such as speed, but it also disables turn signals, creating an extremely dangerous situation. During the incident that happened while driving, I was unable to signal my intentions to other drivers, significantly increasing the risk of an accident. At present, the only known workaround is to pull over and turn off the vehicle for at least 30 minutes, after which the display typically returns. This issue poses a severe safety concern, and we are eager to have it inspected and properly addressed.

The main display panel that shows the speed, turn signal info, blind spot monitoring, and many other things just intermittently dies. According to many posts within online forums, the only known fix is to turn off the vehicle, wait at least 30 minutes and turn the car back on. There does not seem to be a reset option like there is for the radio/map/settings panel. It also does not allow you to see how much fuel (or charge in this case) is left in the vehicle.
