Car stopped working and wouldn-??t start. I was told there is an ICCU failure. There is a back order of ICCU for this vehicle and unknown date of repair.

Vehicle loses accelerator control unless under 30mph. Dealer says they cannot replicate and corporate have decided the vehicle works as designed. The vehicle was being driven on a highway when it became unresponsive to input from the accelerator pedal and the car's dashboard indicated an electrical system failure. There were no indications of problems with the car before the electrical system failure warning appeared. The car coasted to a stop on the side of the highway, where it was disabled (i.e., it would not shift into drive or reverse). The car was towed to a Kia dealership, where it has been for more than five weeks. The dealership replaced the ICCU but that did not resolve the problem and the car remains non-functional. The Kia dealership is waiting for the delivery of additional backordered electrical system parts to see if they resolve the problems.

Vehicle suddenly slowed, with the same force at regenerative braking, to 30mph. Vehicle would not go any faster, changing drive modes, pedal to the floor, anything I tried did not work. Was in the middle of a 55mph road and was suddenly moving much slower than traffic with nowhere to pull off the road No warnings, no lights, nothing to indicate that I saw to show there was an issue. Dealership could not replicate and found no error codes.

We heard a grinding sound from rear of vehicle while driving into a park lot. Checked road and vehicle to see if there was any damage or objects hit, there were not. Shortly after driving a few miles a BMS warning was showing and we called Kia roadside assistance. They insisted on towing the car but we waited until next day so we could secure a rental. The short drive to the rental agency now gave us 4 more errors regarding -??check 4WD/AWD-?? and the code was given as -??MCU_R-?? to check the rear motor control units. All were listed as -??P1Axxxx-?? errors. During this time, electronics in the car did not work well, vehicle did not want to shift into gears and acceleration was noticeably degraded. Car is at dealership being worked on now.

My family and I were driving down a busy highway at speed in the middle lane, the vehicle suddenly jolted forward and lost power. Dashboard reported electrical system failure, contact service. Vehicle was recovered to dealer who has been unable to resolve issue and KIA unable to diagnose the root cause of the problem. Very dangerous.

The vehicle unexpectedly accelerates in multiple situations, all related to -??iDrive-?? (one pedal driving), either failing to engage, or unexpectedly disengaging. It almost hit something while parking, and it started accelerating into oncoming traffic from a stop sign. I-??ve driven the car for 60 miles. I suspect there are other similar scenarios that I haven-??t discovered. Steps to reproduce grouped by scenario: 1. Engage iDrive with the left steering wheel paddle. Remove foot from brake. Car does not move. Switch to R then D. Remove foot from brake. Car accelerates. 2. Engage iDrive. Turn off car. Turn it back on. Shift to D. Car accelerates. 3. Press paddle to engage iDrive, and bring vehicle to a stop. Remove foot from pedal. Sometimes it stays stopped. Sometimes it beeps instead of engaging iDrive, then accelerates later. Expected behavior: After engaging one pedal driving with the left steering wheel paddle, the vehicle should never accelerate from a stop unless the gas pedal has been pressed. The driver should have to press the right steering wheel paddle to disengage it. The left paddle should reliably engage one pedal mode.
