I had an ongoing sticky brake problem for two years. The sticky brakes caused the ESC to activate and slow the car down. This is dangerous when driving on the interstate. The dealership was NO HELP. I finally found the solution from a post on this website from someone with the same 2013 Kia Forte. The fix is the Brake Booster. His was covered under warranty. Mine was not. The parts and labor came to about $500.00 but it was worth it to finally fix this problem. Now I can finally enjoy this little car.

Car brake pedal will stick and not come back up. Brake pedal and brakes don't retract back up after they been applied

SO I ALTERED IT AND PLACED A SPRING

Update from Jul 7, 2016: The brake Booster on the Brake Master Cylinder was the problem and it is still covered under WARRANTY bring it in to a dealer near you. Mine got replaced at no cost.
