I have this problem with the brake light. I got stopped by a police. I got a ticket for not having brake lights. So I stopped at a auto part store to buy brake lights. After I installed them, they didn't work. So I bought the stoplight switch thinking it could of been the switch that wasn't working. The switch didn't work either. I've heard other person with the same vehicle are having the same problem.

Now not just the brake lights don't work but the gear shift mechanism doesn't work either and all the controls on the steering wheel don't work. It's been really a problem with this vehicle. I've been to the dealer to verify if there is a recall but all they said NO.
