My tires are in good shape but I keep getting notifications indicating I have low tires pressure. I got it checked out and the tires have the proper amount of air. Even after getting the sensors reset, I still get this notification. Now the TPMS stays on whether I'm traveling or just stationary.

Three of the four oem tires that came on my vehicle have needed replacement due to damaged sidewalls. The oem tires are 16 inch nexen CP671 205/55R16 tires, and my vehicle currently has less than 23,000 miles on it. The first tire (front passenger) developed a weak external sidewall on or about 12/31/13, with 7,000 miles on the vehicle. I replaced this with a nexen CP671 205/55R16 oem tire. The second tire (rear driver side) developed a weak internal sidewall on or about August 15th, 2014, with 14,500 miles on the vehicle. I replaced this with a nexen CP671 205/55R16 oem tire. The third tire (rear passenger side) developed a weak external sidewall on or about February 25th, 2015, with 22,200 miles on the vehicle. This time, I replaced all four tires with a different brand.

I have been driving my 2014 Kia Forte ex for almost 2 years now. Leased it brand new the day it landed on the lot. I only drive it to work and back as we have a 2014 Kia sorento we do all our family traveling in. I took the Forte to the dealership today as I was having issues with the bluetooth, the check engine light was on and there was a hollow tumbling sound coming from the rear of the car. Upon inspection the service associate informed me that the tires were tore up. I explained to them that the car only had 33500 miles on it and I had brought it in at 6000 miles to have the alignment fixed because it was off then as well. The mechanic checked the alignment today and told us the rear axle is not right, looks like it came off the assembly line that way. As this time Kia doesn't know what they can do for me, but the car is still brand new, they need to make it right!

Vehicle lacks a spare tire, and it was not disclosed at time of purchase, nor does it state this fact in any of its published sales literature or web site publications. Kia customer service was contacted (800-333-4542. Lonnie, ext. 45804, [xxx]) on numerous occasions and claimed there was not any need for a spare. Customer service indicated that a 'donut spare', as provided on their other vehicles, is not available, yet, and has no delivery date scheduled. Their mobility kit (tire inflation) will not work on tire cuts and blow outs. The kit usefulness date is one year. The kit is dangerous to operate, especially if one is a senior and disabled. In addition, use of the kit will ruin the tire pressure monitor installed in the tire and void the entire warranty. Kia provides and delivers a full spare tire, rim and tool kit in other markets, namely australia and new zealand, at not extra cost. A full spare tire, equal to the oem provided wheels on the delivered vehicle should be provided as a safety measure and make the vehicle fully functional. While driving the vehicle I inadvertently hit a pothole. It was the coldest night of the year, -20 degrees. Hitting the pothole knocked the bead of my tire off the rim. I went into the trunk to get the spare tire out, and to my surprise. There was no spare tire!!!! there was a "tire mobility kit". I attempted to use this, but it was to absolutely no avail. I called the roadside assistance number, after walking about 1/2 mile to get cell phone service (still -20 outside), I found out that the estimated time for roadside assistance was at least 90 minutes. I decided to instead call my mom, who was 45 minutes away, so she could bring her car, and I could use her spare tire. I was able to change the tire in 10 minutes and get back on the road with my mom's spare. I called the dealership the next morning, and they told me that my car does not come standard with a spare tire. I would have to purchase a spare tire if I wanted one!!! this is completely unacceptable and dangerous! what if my car had run out of gas in the -20 weather while waiting? if my mom could not have come, I would have been waiting at least 90 minutes! instead of the 10 it takes to put a spare tire on. That is completely unacceptable and is a safety issue. I have notified Kia, and I want a spare tire with my car at no cost. This is a safety issue. Other than that, I absolutely love the car...
