Took this to my Kia Dealer and after driving it says would not happen. Its happened to me numerous times and can google this problem and find it on the Internet going back 11 months. I was told it had gone to an engineer at KIA but was sent home unfixed in the car. I was told this is not a safety issue even though the car shuts down the Forward Collision System totally. I was told this was a software issue and I have seen the Optima's recalled recently for the same problem.
My main problem is that my Dealer in Fort Worth was not being transparent about the issue and the Service Advisor gave me 3 different explanations about the problem and what the rectification might be and when to expect the solution.
