dealership super glued front bumper onto vehicle dealership super glued front bumper onto vehicle dealership super glued front bumper onto vehicle dealership super glued front bumper onto vehicle

On October 15, 2015, I walked around the passenger side of the vehicle and saw the corner of my front bumper was sticking out from the car. After looking at it closer, I noticed there was a residue (looks a lot like Gorilla Glue) that looked like an adhesive used to hold the bumper onto the car. I immediately called and made an appointment with a body shop to see what was going on with this new car. I made the appointment for October 21, 2015. I took the car to my appointment time to the body shop and they looked at it and immediately said, "This bumper has clearly been damaged before. Replacement required b/c tab is broken and attempt to repair done with glue." I was shocked!!!! And pissed!!!! Mind you the car had only 2,210 miles on it at this time so no damage was done to this vehicle. I truly suspect that the dealership (Family Kia of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, FL) damaged the car and glued the bumper back on hoping I would never find out about it.

Needless to say, I obviously found the "fix" and I have already contacted Kia Corporate about this and about 12 other issues with this horrific car. Karen Johnson was helpful when she actually answered the phone or eventually returned her voicemails. Randy Chicone from Corporate doesn't seem to be too helpful with the exception of trying to arrange an appointment time and another K900 for me to drive while my K900 is in the shop. After multiple calls and voicemails, he finally calls me to tell me that they wouldn't be able to get my car into the service department until November 23, 2015 (and that's for ALL the problems). I told him I needed this bumper fixed ASAP because it looks like CRAP and it makes sounds while driving on the interstate. He said he would work on it. As of November 2, 2015, I have not heard back from Randy.

I feel the dealership should replace the car just on the fact that they flat out lied about the "repairs" and never told me about it. To me that dealership committed FRAUD!!! I left a true luxury brand for this Kia and I fully regret it.
