The local dealer was contacted, and it was confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had experienced a strong electrical burning odor inside the cabin of the vehicle. The contact stated that the front passenger-??s side wheel well had melted and collapsed. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer was notified of the failure.
