The bottom of the plastic cover on the underside of the steering column has 2 castings that block the foot of drivers with larger feet (I’m a size 11) during panic stops.
These castings need to be removed.
It happens 1 out of 50 times I go to the brake pedal, but last night it happened when someone pulled in front of me.

That is unsafe and unacceptable.
Otherwise we love the car.
