Optima SE 2.4L 4 cyl

In July the engine lost power and died. I discovered the timing belt was bad and it was replaced with a new one. It drove fine for a while and then it lost power-a sensation of down shifting and several codes showed up-one being camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction. A new cam shaft position sensor was installed. Soon the engine light came on again-this was checked by a very good mechanic who checked on the code-system too lean and found nothing and also charged nothing to read the code or do the check.The car drove OK when it only went 25 miles and rested. When driven for about 30 minutes it felt like it down shifted-lost power,regained power, worked hard to climb hills, then powered off completely. After sitting for 5 minutes and letting engine cool, drove again but not for long without feeling a sensation of down shifting and loss of power. Now there are 3 codes showing up- System too lean (cylinder bank #1), Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected, and Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction. I can't figure out why the camshaft sensor is malfunctioning when it was replaced with a new one. I can't figure out what's causing the power loss and engine stall. (This will teach me not to buy Korean).
