Absolutely frustrated with dealing with the plethora of issues since i purchased my 2004 Kia Optima in December 2015. It was a piece of crap from the very first day i drove it home. I read many positive reviews when researching online before purchasing, but obviously, they were mostly fraudulent, my guess staged by Kia manufacturer. Boy, did I get fooled! Yes, many people vehemently defend the quality of Kias to my utter disbelief. But, these are not good cars, plain and simple as that! After throwing enough of my hard-earned money into keeping this lemon on the road, a torturous, frustrated feeling developed, knowing i have been "had" by the shyster car dealer i was unlucky to run into on Craigslist. With his catchy words "excellent condition, take keys and drive away," I was a little too impulsive not using proper caution. Immediately, like clockwork, one, two, three, this, that and everything else breaking, it was a no-brainer that this nightmare car had to go. Naturally, I felt stuck with it after all the money spent with mechanical, transmission, electrical and exhaust failures. But now i realize it is time to move on and just let this torturous headache go away. I feel sorry for all the people who made a much larger investment with newer models and got screwed. Kias are so awful, my stepfather refuses to sell them on his car lot. Do not buy a Kia!
