So i want you all to know what part i got fixed that remove to engine light and codes. First the codes i was getting are: P2422 - Canister clogged, P2187 system too lean idle B1, and P2189 system too lean idle B2. Replacing the CCV Canister (which is located above the gas tank) cleared these codes and engine light is now out. However, I still have the problem of my car not starting after getting gas filled. Detail, when i remove the gas cap, fill up car (a little or a lot - doesn't matter), put gas cap back on - go to start car and it will NOT keep on. No trouble getting to start - trouble is it dies immediately. Takes many tries with reving after each start and try to throw it into drive before it dies. Once successful in this rev - slam into drive - i get slight chugging at very next stop sign/light but it doesn't die. Once on main road - it is like nothing is wrong at all. During all this - no engine light. Every time i start the car after this - all is fine. Only does it again when i fill up with gas. !!!!!!!! I called the dealer today to see if they know what is up with this - had to leave a message, so i don't know yet. Will update again.

So, i have not had many problems with this car other than the constant blinker bulbs in back blowing constantly - fixed this problem by bending the connectors for the bulbs WAY out - so they constantly touch the bulb. Once i did this -so far no blow outs. Finger crossed - but it has been a year/compared to replacing bulbs every two months...Ok fuel issue, now around 58,000 miles, my engine light started coming on only to go back off a day or two later. No issue felt at that time. Now 59,900 miles engine light on and off still, but i now own a code reader. It was an emission code for the longest time - and i was told to get a new gas cap. I did and that worked for a while. Then more codes, running lean, emission something etc... and the car after removing gas cap to fill the tank at the pump, once i get back to start it, it won't start. Try again and rev, rev, rev, rev i can keep in going but at each stop sign etc. it tries to die again, once on main road and driving for a bit - stop light stop and no more dieing problem. Engine light is back on at this point. I go to work, park, take lunch engine light still on, back to work, park, leaving work engine light still on, pick up child, park, leave to going home - engine light off - car purring like a kitten and feel brand new again. OVER and OVER and OVER. took it to shop - they say gas tank air filter (which appartently take a long time to get this part in) so can't tell you yet - if that is the fix or not. I will log back in if this repair fixes it or not.

Update from Jul 21, 2016: Update. The fuel tank air filter - never came into shop from dealer....but other part did and was replaced. This is a filter part with a valve and it plugs in above the gas tank. Since i was getting code for valve is closed they replaced this part. It successfully removed the engine light being on. Again, engine light is out. But problem remains. When i get fuel and put the gas cap back on, the car won't stay on. It dies again and again, i have to rev rev rev and try to keep it steady. Once i am moving again - 2-4 times of trying to keep it started on average. it shows slight choke at stops until i hit the main road. Once i drive a bit, all is fine again. It starts fine after this - only doesn't after getting fuel. Here and there is have had the gas tank area alarmish sounding on morning start up. It so far has only happened three times - not in a row. Shop told me sound like fuel filter. I am going to take it to dealer for full diagnostic - I'll let you all know....

Update from Oct 21, 2016: Turns out replacing the fuel purge above the gas tank took care of the engine light! However the car still wouldn't start after pumping gas even though the engine light was not on anymore. Dealer found that this car has a 2nd purge valve in the engine. THis 2nd purge valve was stuck open - he replace this purge valve and the problem was solved. No engine light, no more trouble at gas pump. I never needed to replace the tank air filter. Hope this helps you all!
