Optima LX 4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 99,000 miles

my problems started when I went to the rick case dealership on april 4,2012. i was told the 2009 optima was in excellent not good but excellent condition and that i was also going to have a warranty well that wasn't true at all along with other promises. It had 2300 thousand miles and only had one owner, now i am not sure that was even true. from the first time i took the car for it's oil change i had nothing but problems each time i left there i had paid out $200.00 or more for other issues they said were wrong and of course the warranty did not cover. i took it for the 3rd oil change i was told there were sunflower seeds in the pan that came out and i was asked do i no how they got there. i responded they should tell me how they got there since only you change the oil. while driving off the lot my check engine light came on i drove back and was told there was a sensor problem BAM now i have to pay $354.00after paying the first bill. the next thing i know three months later the car starting sounding like a freight truck i asked a co worker to check my oil and what do you know the tank is empty no oil bone dry he put in two quarts and told me to take it back to them he even wrote a note but when i got there i was told before i could get out of the car oh your engine is gone i can hear it. then you will have to leave the car i ask for a loaner and was told that the only way for me to get a loaner they would have to repair the car i asked about the warranty and was told oh it ran out when you hit 60,000. miles and you couldn't use it anyway you are not the first owner. i told the service rep that is not what i was told when i bought the car and the rep said well that's what it says here. since i had no ride home i couldn't leave the car. i was told to keep oil in it and bring it in when i can but the engine would be $3500.00 i don't have that. i called complained and got no where i took the vehicle to another Kia Dealership and they suggest a new engine also but i should take it back where i bought it because it appears during the last oil change they had to see the shaving in the oil pan because they did an a real good check would have shown them this was taking place two oil changes ago. like when i paid the $354.00, the $200.00, or even the $177.50 now my

car is not working and i am still making payments. i have checked with others who have or add KIA and i am not alone. they need to make good on this deal.
