I bought this car in May of 2015 from Nalley Kia with very low mileage and was very excited with the purchase until I started to have problems with the kia optima. At first, when driving I would notice that the car was going faster than I was driving and couldn't figure out whether it was something that I was doing wrong, until I realized that the car was accelerating on its own. It was a scary feeling. At my second service, I mentioned it to the service adviser and he told me to set-up an appointment for them to take a look. Of course, they could not duplicate it and told me they couldn't do anything about it. I was very upset and contacted Kia customer consumer department. I have taken this car into the dealership four times now with no resolution. The service manager don't want to deal with me he tells me to trade in the car and if I have this problem again to call Kia customer department directly. I don't think anyone cares about what could happen to me or my family if one day I just can't controlled the car and cause an accident. What happens then? I just get a sorry and finally I believe you! I am so frustrated at this point that I feel I should just drop the car off at the dealership and leave it there because every time I stepped into that car I don't know when the stupid car is going to accelerate. I always have to be on my p's and q's when I'm driving and hope that I'll see my family at the end of each and everyday.
