While driving my car down the street, it runs fine until I have to stop. Once I stop then the engine revs and I go nowhere. The engine usually hits around 8K rpms then the transmission catches and slams my head into the seat. I've replaced the transmission temp sensor and flushed the transmission. It did not help a bit.
It is throwing a code but I can't remember exactly what it said. Something about the gear ratio being incorrect. It's just one thing after another with this car. My turbo is making a strange noise now as well. I think Kia should put the 2012 Optima under a permanent warranty and call it good with as many issues as it has.
