i recently changed my oil myself on my 2013 Kia Optima LX 2.4l for the first time after getting it back from the recall engine swap. I noticed the next day oil drops. I jacked it up again to make sure everything was tight under there, oil filter was nice and tight, so was the drain plug. I took my tools and give it and even tighter grip. I thought the problem was over because I didn't see anything dripping out of the bottom of the car.
Now everywhere I go I see oil drips everywhere my car was parked. I started to think maybe some oil fell into the splash guard when I was changing it and was leaking out slowly. So i got back up under there and wiped it down as much as I could. There were a few signs of oil but nothing serious. Again I thought the problem was over, but I still see spots of oil where ever I go.
I'm gonna be calling Destination Kia to see if they are gonna help since they were the last one to touch my car. Will keep you guys posted.
